OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
Mountain View Construction ensures an excellent end product by utilizing quality building materials through out the construction process. We prefer to begin construction with concrete perimeter foundations and pressure treated lumber to prevent rot where applicable. Mountain View Construction uses Truss Joist silent floor systems to ensure quiet and structurally sound floor sections. Wall construction with 2x6 exterior studs placed 16" on center and exterior sheeting provides superior lateral sheer strength. At Mountain View Construction, our roof systems are developed with the appropriate snow load calculations, whether truss or hand framed. Only the highest quality siding, roofing materials, and insulation systems are incorporated into every custom construction project.
Mountain View Construction, in Sandpoint, Idaho, retains the services of reputable, fully licensed and insured engineers to perform all building inspections throughout the custom construction process. When construction is complete, you will receive a "Certificate of Compliance," certifying that the construction of your custom home meets or exceeds the Uniform Building Code. Mountain View Construction, along with every subcontractor we hire, is a registered contractor with the State of Idaho and carries a General Liability Insurance and a full Workmen's Compensation policy with the Idaho State Insurance Fund.
OUR PRICE GUARANTEE & WARRANTY
Mountain View Construction is able to guarantee our custom home construction price at the time the contract documents are signed (excluding any owner requested changes) due to the following tasks we complete prior to the contract execution.
• Mountain View Construction works extensively with the owners prior to and during the estimating stage to determine as many construction specifications as possible, and obtain accurate bids based on that information.
• We obtain multiple and competitive bids from qualified subcontractors. Once awarded the project, they execute a "Subcontract Agreement" which guarantees their price for our clients.
• Mountain View Construction thoroughly documents all specifications and custom construction details for every aspect of the project, which we review extensively with the owner for accuracy. This "Description of Materials" becomes an attachment to the construction contract.
Our customer service is unsurpassed in the custom home construction industry. We offer a one year warranty for all cosmetic repairs, a full warranty for all structural items, and a full manufacturer's warranty for any mechanical devices.
