Over the past 30 years, Mountain View Construction has forged a solid reputation as a premier custom home builder in Northern Idaho. Each home built is an expression of our team’s dedication to excellence. We specialize in waterfront and mountainside homes and especially enjoy the challenge of those on difficult sites. Within our portfolio are homes designed by many of the area’s finest architects.

Mountain View Construction is owned and operated by Sean and Jamie Gavin. Their combined experience in the home building industry exceeds 30 years. Both Sean and Jamie are actively involved in the Sandpoint Community as members of the Panhandle Building Contractors Association, the Rotary Club of Ponderay Centennial and the Greater Sandpoint Area Chamber of Commerce.

Our Price Guarantee

Mountain View Construction is able to guarantee the “Cost of Construction” to our clients prior to project commencement. This is achieved by effectively communicating with the client prior to obtaining supplier and subcontractor bids. This ensures that the correct products and services are being included in the cost of construction. We obtain competitive bids from multiple sources. Once awarded a project, we execute subcontractor agreements which guarantee the best pricing for our clients. Mountain View Construction thoroughly documents every specification and custom construction detail. This “Full Description of Materials” becomes an attachment to the construction contract.
